NOBIAN KNOTS
Nubian knots are created by sectioning a strand of hair, tightening it and twisting it around itself. The result is rolled up in a spiral and the end then inserted into a spiral from below.
Synthetic hair, including colored hair, is usually incorporated, which creates more volume and makes the hairstyle more durable.
Sometimes the Nubian knots are additionally held together with hairpins or rubber bands. Beads, ribbons and other accessories can be inserted.
Nubian knots are great for frizzy hair. The hair should be at least 10 cm long.
You can also achieve great effects with colored synthetic hair.
Nubian knots last about 1 to 2 months, with artificial hair also much longer. The hairstyle definitely lasts much longer.
They can be combined with other braiding techniques such as cornrows, twists and dreadlocks.
CARE
Friction should be avoided. The hair should be washed gently. It is best to avoid shampoo and just shower off. Allow hair to air dry or blow dry a little. The hair should not be rubbed dry with the towel.
